Meet in the parking lot of Ankeny Hill Nature Center (AHNC). We will explore the short trail to the overlook at the AHNC before heading to Pintail and Eagle Marsh. There’ll be wintering waterfowl, raptors, maybe shorebirds and some songbirds that are only here in the winter. There may be courtship activity among the ducks. We may see some of the earliest spring returnees in March. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle and confirm anything inside is out of sight.
